Death be not the end.
In my mortality, death be your beginning.
A journey of life without me.
Look upon the dusk and feel me;
For as the sun sets, your mind may lay me to rest.
Then upon the morning light;
Feel my touch breathe life into your hesitant pause.
My death be not your end;
While I walk beside you as your guiding friend.
In sorrow, joy and love –
In fear, anxiety and despair;
Hold me close in thought and heart.
Dear loved one, hear me say.
My death be not your end,
Only a slight bend –
Where my journey ends and yours begin.
Written in a fog of thought many months ago, this forgotten poem. My treasures of the night.
Brilliant. I love it.
